• The Oota-juku

The Oota-juku 's "Passing Ota" was a difficult point as it was sung "Crosspiece of Kiso, Passing Ota, Usui Pass s unquestionable”. This place was also the center of politics, economics and culture of Higashi Mino, as the officeal place of Owari clan who had managed from Ochikei Inn to Uumajuku was located. The Oota-juku was located about 7.9 km away from the Fushimi-juku. The town had a population of 508 (man 259、woman 249),108 houses, one honjin one waki-honjin,and 20 hatago in the year 1843.
